Privacy Statement
Version 1.0 · 2 October 2026
1. Who we are
This website, approdo.app, is operated by The Cloud Platform Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10685442), registered office 36 Grosvenor Crescent, London, NW9 9DA, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. You can reach us on +44 20 3976 9020 or through the contact form on thecloudplatform.co.uk.
2. What we collect and why
What: your email address and the fact and time of your signup, stored in our Cloudflare storage. A notification of your signup is routed via Cloudflare Email Routing to our company inbox so we know you are waiting.
Why: to tell you when Approdo early access opens and to keep you informed about the product you asked to hear about.
Lawful basis: consent — UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a). You opted in by submitting the form, and you can withdraw at any time using the contact details above; we will remove you promptly.
3. What we do not collect
- No advertising or tracking. There are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors or track you across other websites.
- No payment data. Approdo is not yet on sale, so nothing is sold or paid for on this site and we take no payment information here.
- No files or server data. Approdo has not launched. This site does not scan, receive or store anything from your systems.
- We never sell your data. Ever.
4. Who processes your information
- Cloudflare hosts this website and the small service that receives signups. When you submit the form, your email address is transmitted through Cloudflare, stored in our Cloudflare storage, and a notification is sent to our company inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing. Cloudflare processes data across its global edge network.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface this site uses. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
If we add another supplier that processes personal data, we will update this Statement before it starts.
5. International transfers
Cloudflare operates a global network with points of presence in the UK, the EU and elsewhere, so the data we hold may be processed outside the UK. For those transfers we rely on Cloudflare's data processing terms, which incorporate the safeguards UK GDPR recognises for transfers abroad (Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum).
6. How long we keep it
We keep your email address until we have told you that early access is open, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form. We respond within one month. To exercise any of these, use the contact details in section 1.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk — though we would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
8. Cookies
This site uses only the functional and security cookies its hosting platform, Cloudflare, needs to serve the site safely. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.
9. Changes to this Statement
We will update this Statement when something changes — a new supplier, a new feature, or the launch of the product itself. The version number and date at the top will move forward when we do.
